Rehabilitate Common Sports Injuries

Whether high or low impact, if you’re not careful, playing sports is an easy way to nab yourself an injury. Luckily, there’s Powerball – the world’s number one gyroscopic exercise device for injury rehabilitation.

Powerball can help to rehabilitate a wide range of sports injuries including:

  • Broken/fractured bones
  • Sprains
  • Muscle tears
  • RSI (repetitive strain injury)

What’s more, exercise with Powerball is 100% non-impact, meaning it does not place any strain on injured muscles or joints. This allows you to start your recovery earlier, rehabilitate quicker and get back to training again in no time at all.

Reduce Rehabilitation Times

How does Powerball cut recovery times?

Turning your wrist against the isometric resistance generated by Powerball promotes circulation around the upper body. Increased circulation means more oxygen-rich nutrients are carried directly to sore and damaged muscles, where they quickly work to soothe pain and repair muscle tissue. As the tissue is repaired, Powerball’s isometric resistance stimulates the entire muscle, strengthening it. Repair + strengthening = faster recovery times and long-term results.

If you are looking to reduce rehabilitation times, Powerball is the key. Pick up a Powerball and experience the benefits for yourself today.

Prevent Future Injuries

Powerball isn’t just a once-off trick for injury rehabilitation – it is also designed for effective strengthening.

Continuing to spin Powerball after you’ve recovered from injury is important as it maintains muscle health in the hands and wrists. Think of it as an extra layer of body armour for your muscles and joints. Regular exercise with Powerball greatly lowers the risk of sustaining another injury by keeping your muscles feeling rejuvenated and strong. From fingertip to shoulder – it’s as simple as Powerball.

Broken bone rehab. No problem.

Here I am getting ready to take on the ‘Hand’ Jackie Johnson, 13 weeks after I broke my humerus and had a 6in plate with 8 screws put in it. Thanks to the best rehabilitation tool out there, Powerball..! As A Physician Assistant I would recommend this to any of my patients with hand, wrist or arm injuries!

WEAK WRIST AFTER A BREAK?
PROBLEM SOLVED.

I am a cycling instructor and travel everywhere by bicycle, so when I broke my wrist in a fall from my bike, I was devastated. Thankfully, A&E were able to manipulate my bones back into position without recourse to pins or plates.

A friend recommended Powerball® and I started with VERY gentle exercise for a couple of minutes, building up strength gradually. The physiotherapy I was given by the NHS was good but basic and my therapist was delighted with the progress I made as a result of Powerball®. My wrist is now back to almost full strength but I still use my Powerball®. I am amazed that something so simple can go from gentle exercise to really powerful exercise as the muscles and tendons start to regain their strength.

SHOULDER BURSITIS PAIN RELIEF.

For more than 20 years I have had left shoulder pain when using a throwing motion during softball. I had been to the doctor, had a cortisone shot, x-rays, an MRI, Physical Therapy, and given home exercises to do. The diagnosis was shoulder bursitis. None of the treatments provided relief, and I was about ready to give up playing softball. Before last season began, I started using Powerball regularly and was pleasantly surprised to find that the pain reduced significantly.

Based on what I’d read, I figured the primary areas where improvement may be seen were the wrist and forearm. However, the shoulder improvement was such that I was able to continue playing. I still don’t really have the arm strength to throw as hard as the younger guys out there but at least the pain is barely noticeable most of the times. I’m sure if it wasn’t for the benefits of working out with Powerball I would be on the sidelines watching. In fact, I have little doubt my softball days would be long done if it wasn’t for the Powerball and my range of motion in that shoulder would be very limited.

Perfect for all racket sports. Add more power to your shot.

Powerball is an excellent strength training device for all racquet sports, allowing you to get a little more power into your shots. As a physics teacher, I also find it to be a great teaching tool as I talk to my students about centripetal force and rotational inertia!

You will notice a difference in days.

“The repetitive movements of tennis regularly result in wrist, elbow and shoulder strains. 3 years ago one of our players began using a Powerball to help rehabilitate a wrist injury. I was highly sceptical about what this spinning ball could do and so was well surprised when it helped greatly speed their recovery. Since then we’ve been using Powerball for both rehabilitation and strengthening of our player’s arms and wrists.

It takes a little practice to get the movement right but once you perfect the technique and follow a simple programme you will definitely notice a positive difference in days.”

ULNAR / RADIUS BROKEN IN HALF?
PROBLEM SOLVED.

I was playing baseball for my college team in Jersey when my arm was literally broken in half. I was escorted to the hospital and doctors patched me up, advising I would have to undergo therapy. In therapy there were the usual massages and exercises, but there was also one psychical therapist who had a slightly different approach. She handed me a green Powerball® and instructed on how to use it.

There were 3 other patients in therapy with similar injuries to mine that day and I’d say I probably healed 50% quicker. That green Powerball® literally gave me my arm back, one of the greatest inventions I’ve ever invested in. Thank you.
