Muay Thai Champion
Ciaráin Shanahan is one of the rising stars in combat sports, making a name for himself on the international Muay Thai stage. Originally from Thurles – the home of RPM Power – Ciaráin has worked his way up through the ranks with determination and grit—culminating in a standout moment in 2024 when he captured the KGP World Title at the Muay Thai Grand Prix in London, winning in just over two minutes.
Fighting under the nickname “The Menace,” Ciaráin is known for his explosive style, sharp technique, and relentless pace in the ring. Having claimed national titles in both Ireland and the UK, he now trains and competes full-time in England, where he also mentors up-and-coming fighters.
Despite competing internationally, he remains strongly connected to his home in Tipperary and we’re delighted to have him join our team as one of our first RPM Power Sponsored Athletes. With his work ethic, resilience, and growing list of achievements, Ciaráin Shanahan is establishing himself as a powerful ambassador for Irish combat sports—and a role model for young athletes chasing big ambitions.
