RPM Power x HYROX Cork

RPM Power was delighted to spend the weekend at the Grainstore, Ballymaloe, at the HYROX Simulation organised by our friends in HYROX Cork. With just shy of one thousand athletes in attendance, the RPM Team had the opportunity to support the event with our fully-equipped Warm-Up Zone, Elite Cardio Competitive Race and lots of free fitness and recovery goodies.

What is HYROX?

HYROX is the world’s fastest-growing fitness race, combining functional strength training with endurance. It’s designed to be accessible to all fitness levels, from first-time competitors to elite athletes. Each event brings together thousands of participants and spectators for an atmosphere that’s as motivating as it is unforgettable.

The race can be carried out in different levels and team sizes, depending on preference. These include: open and pro for individuals, doubles for partners, and relay teams of four people. A standard race features 8 stations:

RPM Power Warm-Up Zone

We were proud to provide a fully equipped Warm-Up Zone featuring our range of Elite Cardio Equipment. Athletes had the chance to get race-ready on our machines before hitting the competition floor – and many came back afterwards to cool down, stretch out, and recover. It was fantastic to see our equipment helping so many competitors prepare for their best performances, and what’s more, the direct feedback we were able to get from the athletes using our products was invaluable to us. It’s feedback like this that helps us continue to optimise our product designs to ensure they continue to keep up with the performance demands of sports like HYROX.

RPM Power Vendor Stand & Competition

As the Grainstore in Ballymaloe has extensive grounds, RPM Power were able to set up a second camp in the Vendor Hall at the event. We set up our stand to showcase our range of products that are perfectly suited to HYROX training. From our new Elite Cardio Equipment to our Elite Wall Balls, Sandbags and Kettlebells, the stand gave us another chance to directly connect with both the athletes and supporters. Here, were able to give demos and answer any questions on our product range.

At our stand in the Vendor Hall, we also gave away lots of RPM Power training and recovery equipment, as well as exclusive store discounts and HyGo water cartons from our friends over at Borrisoleigh Bottling which kept the athletes hydrated.

It was here that we also ran our Elite Cardio Equipment Race: who could complete the fastest 500m on our RPM Power Elite Air Ski, Elite Air Rower and Elite Ergonomic Bike respectively.  There were two categories for each cardio machine – male and female –, which meant we gave away a total of six RPM Power Gift Vouchers worth €250 each. Everyone who took part in our 500m competition seriously blew us away, especially as many of them gave it a go after completing a full HYROX Sim!

The buzz around the competition was electric – a big thank you to everyone who took part and gave it their all.
