The RPM Power team was incredibly excited to collaborate with Glenstal Abbey Secondary School in County Limerick on this installation project. Glenstal Abbey is a historic Benedictine monastery and boarding school, founded in the early 20th century and set within a stunning estate that blends rich heritage with a strong tradition of education and community. With such an iconic and historic setting, we knew that introducing a brand-new, state-of-the-art gym facility would create a fantastic contrast, bringing modern training equipment into a truly timeless environment.

Supporting life-long habits

The gym was designed to support the health, fitness and athletic development of the students, while also providing a valuable training space for staff. RPM Power worked with the team at Glenstal Abbey to carefully plan the layout and equipment selection, focusing on creating a well-rounded facility that caters to a wide range of training styles and abilities.

The final setup includes a varied mix of strength, functional and conditioning equipment, ensuring the space can support everything from structured sports training to general fitness and physical education.

New strength and conditioning equipment for the school

The new gym training area at the boarding school was designed to primarily offer strength and conditioning opportunities to the students. The space is structured around our Apex Shadow Rack with Storage and a number of Freestanding Bay Rigs.

To supplement these core structures, are our premium wooden Deadlift T-Platforms and a variety of barbells, weight plates and U3800 Weight Benches. Rounding out the training options are Plyometric Boxes and a Prone Row Bench Elite for isolated exercises. A Freestanding Hex Dumbbell Rack complete with a wide range of dumbbells were also installed.
